Privacy Policy

[Updated February 1, 2019] I am not interested in tracking you or knowing where you’re going next. Also, unless you are an established client or subscriber, I have no way of knowing who you are or why you’re visiting. If you send me an email via the Contact Page, request information or create a subscriber account, any and all of the information that you may choose to provide on this site – with the exception of comments made about, or in relation to, blog entries – will be kept strictly confidential. I do not sell any of the information I collect. Note that if you click on a link that takes you away from this site you are then subject to that new site’s policies and terms of service.

Here is the Slow Lane Cafe Privacy Policy in plain English:

  • This Web server will gather basic statistics such as time and date of visit, IP address, and other mundane details. No personally identifiable information is in any way sought or compiled for random visitors.
  • This site occasionally includes advertising from third parties such as Google. Those third parties are probably tracking you all over the Internet, if you don’t like it here is how to surf anonymously.
  • Also, Google Analytics is tracking you right now to tell me stats about my visitors. Most website owners do this.

That’s about it. In summary, I won’t share your info with anyone unless I am morally or legally bound to do so.

Thanks to John P. of One Man’s Blog for allowing me to use his blog’s Privacy Policy as a starting point for mine.
