Another National Park checked off the list. Tuesday, September 5 through Wednesday, September 20, 2023, we traveled to Mammoth Cave National Park (near Bowling Green, KY), then to Franklin, TN, to visit Andy’s mother (and we spent an evening at the Opry as well), and then on to Lexington, KY, to visit the Kentucky Cooperage and two or three Bourbon distillers. While in Bowling Green, we also visited the National Corvette Museum. (That was the plan at any rate; we actually came back a couple of days early because Nancy got a virus and was feeling dreadful near the end of the trip.
